Boston’s No Name Restaurant

Looking for a no-frills, friendly Boston seafood experience? Check out the No Name Restaurant (yes that really is the name of the place). Located a half mile from the Westin Waterfront and the Boston Conference Center, it’s right on the Fish Pier. Conference Live blogger Emmy Simpson, her hubby, and I had dinner there last night. No reservations were needed last night (I don’t know how busy they’ll be as the week goes on), and we had great service. I had been here almost 30 years ago, at a different conference and not much has changed since then.

The menu is short and sweet – nothing complicated, just freshly prepared chowder, broiled and steamed seafood choices – including lobster of course. The steamed whole lobster looked amazing, and I had the sauteed lobster, shrimp, and scallops. I’m looking forward to several more good seafood dinners while we’re here. Check it out!
