My NAR governance started off with going to the multicultural meetings bright and early at 8AM on Thursday. Representatives from the National Association of Real Estate Brokers (NAREB), the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals (NAHREP), the Asian Real Estate Association of America (AREAA), and members from our own NAR executive team, which included incoming President Vince Malta, First Vice President, Charlie Oppler, and our liaisons, Mary Dykstra and Tiffany Curry. Vince and Charlie pledged their support for the multi-cultural organizations which was fantastic coming off the commemoration of the 50th Anniversary of the Fair Housing Act. It was also announced during these meetings that the National Association of Gay and Lesbian Real Estate Professionals (NAGLREP), would now be included in Multicultural Real Estate Leadership Advisory Group.
