GREEN REsource Council Meets in Boston

The GREEN REsource Council held their annual meeting during the 2018 NAR Conference & Expo. Representing a cross-section of talented and knowledgeable individuals from all across the country, the GRC is extremely busy given many recent successes and current projects.

Noteworthy is the completion of the 2017 NAR Sustainability Report, the 2018 Sustainability Summit, the rewrite of the GREEN Designation Course, the Development of the new GREEN Member Website (now in beta), the celebration of the three (3) 2018 EverGREEN Award recipients, and the discussion of the great insights from the recent member survey.

However, most noteworthy is undoubtedly the NAR Sustainability Program Strategic Priorities, which is now the strategic framework that our organization will use in moving forward on the relative areas within forward thinking. There is clearly much to celebrate, including that of the GREEN Designation having now celebrated its 10th year!

Along with the Amazing NAR staff (Amanda Stinton, Tonette Lauer and so many others), the GRC volunteers have done so much in helping steer the efforts towards and even brighter future. However, the GRC knows that in truth, we are still just getting started. I know they are all up to, and ready for, all the hard work that is ahead into the next decade and beyond!
